Faculty Support - Recording lectures, Lecture Notes and Handouts

Recording Lectures

If you are utilising a recording device to support your note taking, out of courtesy, please speak to your lecturers when you begin to use your equipment. If you experience any difficulties please bring them to the attention of the Disability & Dyslexia Service.

Recordings of academic sessions are for your own personal study purposes and, should not be reproduced, abused, published or shared with others. Misuse of academic session recordings will lead to disciplinary action against you and possible expulsion from the University.

Obtaining Lecture Notes

The University encourages all academic staff to make lecture materials available to students via our Virtual Learning tools (Blackboard/ Moodle). However, if you require hard copies of OHPs or notes please make yourself known to your lecturers and make them aware of your requirements.

If you experience any difficulties please bring them to the attention of the Disability & Dyslexia Service.
