Dissertation Project - Call for Dyslexic Students

Are you a Dyslexic student and interested in participating in a Dissertation research project? You will be asked to complete six tasks which will last up to a total of half an hour; three of the tasks will involve you copying text whilst listening to other sounds, writing down what you hear whilst listening to other sounds and other similar tasks. During the tasks you will also be linked to a biopack machine which will measure your heart rate throughout.

Summer Dyslexia Assessments

The University’s Disability & Dyslexia Service (DDS) are offering Dyslexia/SpLD assessments to returning USW students over the Summer months. If you wish to access an assessment, please complete our online screening tool as soon as possible. This will give you immediate on-screen feedback as to whether you need an assessment and how to start the process.

These assessments are self funded and cost £300. For more information on the support you can access if you are Dyslexic or to book an appointment with a Disability Adviser, please contact us or check out the area on our website dedicated to Dyslexia/SpLD support
